July Cara Box Reveal- Nautical

I am so incredibly excited to share my July Cara Box with you. The theme for this month is Nautical, which is right up my alley. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you know it's one of my favorite things; from anchors, to navy & stripes, to all the crustaceans!

Desirée from Macke Monologues was the one to send me my box this month. After emailing back and forth all month, we realized we lived in the same general vicinity of Southern California! She definitely nailed this one, you guys. It was SO amazing and fit my needs and wants perfectly.

Here is an excerpt from the letter she wrote me:
"On your next nautical trip I hope your Cara Box has all you'll need for a perfect time:
- some reading material as you cruise about.
- plenty of nautical inspired snacks to keep you full.
- a spill proof cup in case the waters are choppy.
- nautical inspired nail polish to show off your bare toes.
- sunblock and lip balm to shield yourself from the sun.
- fun note cards to help pass the time as you lounge.
- and a cute bag to tote it all in."

Without further ado...

I love everything Desirée included in my box! I totally already have those note cards but I'm so glad she decided to include them. I almost bought some when I was shopping for my buddy! The Chips Ahoy are gone and the Cracker Jacks have been opened. I just couldn't help myself. I'm not going to the lake again until Labor Day, but I'll definitely be bringing everything that's still around (aka, not the snacks) with me. Thank you so much, Desirée!

To see what I decided to send by partner, Ashley, go check out her blog. Ashley and her husband recently adopted the most adorable baby girl, Ellie. They live on a farm in Washington with horses, chickens and goats, how stinkin' awesome is that!?

June Cara Box: Revealed

Here it is, the long awaited June Cara Box reveal. This months theme Take Me to the Fair, which was so hard at first. There are so many possibilities when it comes to this these boxes. I was thrilled to be sending a box to Tiffany over at Style Honestly, so go see what I decided to get her!

Kiera from Contranaut Girl was the one who picked and sent me my box this month! I love that everything is brightly colored just like a fair. Everything she picked out for me was so practical and I will definitely be using everything she sent me!

The thing I'm the most excited about is the animal shaped cookie cutters! Kiera also included a paleo sugar cookie recipe from Against All Grain. I'd never heard of this paleo blog before and am super stoked to browse around and see what other recipes I decide to make!

April CaraBox Opening!

I was introduced to the Cara Box when I first started following the blog Wifessionals. Kaitlyn came up with the idea and put extensive research into making it become a reality.

Cara Box

I was paired with Julie of Inviting Nest. She emailed me immediately and we hit it off right away. She asked some amazing questions to be able to really pick things she thought I'd like. Let me tell you, she did an amazing job! The main question Julie asked me what my goals were in regards to going green and she also read little blog of mine.

I told her that I was really busy and needed a way to be able to take healthy snacks and food with me when I left the house. When I leave in the mornings, I often don't return until late at night. Anytime between 7p and 11p, depending on the day. That was really all the information I gave Julie and she took it and ran!

Julie included three second hand books that she has read and highly recommended. I've been looking for more books and can't wait to read these ones! In the Grip of Grace // The Poisonwood Bible // Captivating

I received my first ever bento box, which even came with a spoon and a fork; a flower punch that I totally plan on using for fruit and veggies; and a little salad dressing bottle. Everything is so perfect for the goals I'm trying to meet in the paleo journey I'm on right now!

Julie included SIX recipes for yummy, yet healthy snacks. The recipes are for the following: Giant Whole Wheat Apple Oat Cookies, Vanilla Granola, Strawberry and Banana Four Grain Granola, Apple Muffins, Cake Batter Energy bars, and Brownie Batter Energy Bites. They all sound SO delicious, and I can't wait to try them out! I will most definitely be doing recipe posts, as long as Julie is okay with it. She also gave me a little mousepad calendar so I can plan out my meals and snacks.

The note Julie included with my items was incredibly special and motivating. Julie, thank you for making my first ever Cara Box experience an amazing one!

I got to send items to Ashley! Check her blog to see what I got her!
